Mimikri’s Zoe Blouse

I happened upon this Zoe blouse from Mimikri and fell in love immediately. I can see this blouse paired with a ruffled peasant skirt as well. It is actually sold as a separate. There is a matching skirt as well. It is available in 8 colors. Here I have it with one of my favorite low-rise denim skirts with denim leggings from BP. The sexy comes from the low-rise of the skirt. The best feature of this blouse is that it can be worn in many different ways. Short-sleeve or no-sleeve. A long tier, or a short tier of ruffles. To me it’s very sweet with a hint of sexy for the summer. I’ve paired it with J’s popular gladiator sandals in brown.

Necklace is from Violet Voltaire which has a scripted cameo that lets you change the picture. The beautiful black bracelet is the work of Swallowtail. Summer here I come!

SWA Glitter Twist Bikini

Today finds me lounging oceanside wearing Second Wave Apparel’s new Glitter Twist Bikini. So many suits in SL have teeny tiny bum coverage, which can be a good thing, but sometimes it’s nice to leave something to the imagination, don’t you think?

SWA’s glitter twist bikini has a very modest full coverage rear. The texturing on it is wonderful. The suit comes on all layers and in 21 different colors! Reasonably priced and adorable at $65

DeLa Jessie Tank Tops

I usually go to DeLa’s for shoes, especially boots. When I stopped in the other day, I found these very cute trimmed out tank tops with complimenting scarfs. I originally purchased the white tank and the yellow scarf, but quickly found myself back DeLa’s checking out other colors. They come in seven very fresh colors and run $300 and the tank comes on all layers, including long and short. Worth going to check out all of the cutie colors that are available.

Naive’s Rodeo Cutie

What’s not to like about a rodeo? Beautiful muscular horses, rugged cowboys in tight jeans. I think if I wore Naive’s new top and panties to a rodeo, I’d have more than one fan. Bull riding? What bull riding? Rodeo cutie indeed. Fear the sexiness!

Although I think I’d wear just the top and panties only for my cowboy, the top sure looks perfect paired up with Refuge’s Socialite skirt in blue. Go ahead and get all of the colors of this skirt. I wear them all of the time. I’m also wearing Paper Couture’s buckled mid-calf boot in Sedona leather. Keeps my feet safe from road apples. (These boots have a funny gap on some of my AO animations. But they are very cute.) My necklace is Chakra, Boho Beads from Earth Tones.

Hair is Detour’s Hazy style in brown. I can’t take this off. I’ve gone from blonde to this streaked look and I can’t change. The flexi part of this hair is so realistic. My make-up is the older Lucia release from the artist formerly known as RaC.

Behold the satin, sexy goodness of Naive’s new Moonlight Walk dress. From it’s gorgeous coral color and yards of satin textures to its slinky sexy back and side cleavage, this dress oozes sensuality. I’ve paired it with what else, a total splurge of Stiletto Moody’s Foxy Wedge’s in an appropriate shiny coral patent with silver edging.

+plus* Glam cuff bracelet in silver adds to the look. If you haven’t checked out +plus*Glam yet for accessories, make sure you do. The nicest, unique collection of hand bags and jewelry to be found grid-side. Also not to be missed is the texturing and flexiness of Detour’s fabulous Prairie hair in brown.

I’m wearing a gorgeous sequin skirt in wine from Mimikri’s Joy collection. The one time I don’t mind wearing a system skirt. (I know, the skirt makes me look a little broad in the beam. But contrary to popular belief this skirt is the star of this show and not those good child-bearing hips of mine.) The sequins are totally realistic. So much so that I think they might have made me taken it off during Saturday’s Earth Hour, it’s just that damn bright. The pretty black cardigan is also from Mimikri Cosmo collection. I paired it with a beautiful lace bra from Armidi for a little more modest look. I splurged with impossibly high heels from Stiletto Moody. Are they worth the price tag? You bet. Now I have to get myself invited to a cocktail party or something.

I love the combination of gray and yellow, or black and yellow, even at the risk of looking like a bumble bee. Here I’m wearing the very versatile black Dongipani shorts from D!FF and Pixel Doll’s charcoal shrug which is brightened by Artilleri’s Beatha top in yellow sans the cute little bows. To avoid the big bare tummy look, I added Veschi’s tintable tights in black. The full prim necklace by Swallowtail is a fun primmy detail. I just adore that necklace.

And like most of my grid sister fashionitas, I have not been able to take off those sexy as hell Maitreya ChiChi pumps in black with the pastel yellow trim. (I could see wearing the ChiChi pumps in yellow, but I had to opt for the black ones because of budgetary constraints.) The same can be held true for my hair. I’ve been having a blast as a platinum blond and Jade’s hair has been hard to take off. Beautiful backdrop and house by Barnesworth Anubis.

Mimikri’s Hot Couture released her new Joy mix and match line. (Check out her blog for all of the pieces and colors available.) And let me tell you, what a joy it is! Beautiful textures everywhere. The sequin wrap top in the wine color has a realistic shine to it. I could see the black or gold wrap top paired with a pair of black leather pants for a rocker/glam look. The details are so pretty, including the little tie bow in the back. The pants with their prim cuffs are wonderful in an organic patterned texture. Each piece is wonderful! And they come in 10 different colors! 10! Under the wrap top, I put <3 Cupcake’s bra for a more modest look. The necklace is a cute freebie from Yummy. I’m also having a hard time taking that hair off from Jade. There is just so much you can do with these pieces.

When I saw these cute, vintage-inspired turtleneck tops, called The Gina Neck, I thought of a 10 different ways to wear them. They come in 6 different colors. Here I’m modeling the pink which is adorable with its 40s dot pattern and has adorable puffy prim shoulders. It’s a steal for $300 for a fatpack. My skirt is the scrubbed mini from Surf Couture. I love these skirts and have them in every color. They are a staple of my SL wardrobe.

Pairing up perfectly are Shiny Things’ Chunky Ribbon boots shown in pink with changeable laces. I know, the pink ones were a splurge, but I have ended up wearing them more than I thought I would. Of course, not as much as the black chunky ones. The hair style is Tasha from the big sale at ETD. It’s a bit sophisticated for the overall look, but I think it tied in neatly. My bracelet is from Ame True Tendenza Floreale Bracelet in Mauve and my necklace is Last Call’s Covet Necklace Chloe. Although a pair of pearls would look dishy here, too. Something delicate and out of the ordinary.

When I saw this brand new richly textured dress from Frangipani, I knew it had to be mine. Look at the flirty scalloped hem! I also knew that I had the perfect boot for it. My bronze boots from Redgrave have been patiently stored on a shelf in my inventory just waiting for this dress. I squealed to see how perfect they were when they rezzed.

Ame True’s gold circle necklace (which is a free gift at her store!), along with her gold hoops and stacked gold bracelets (also part of the free gifty) adds to the gold and bronze goodness of this outfit. My hair is the very popular and elegant and timeless Sofia style from ETD in Dirty Burnt.

Also, non-fashion related, but so wonderful is that piece of furniture behind me. It’s from the master Maxwell Graf of Rustica Furniture. Amazing furniture.
