Ozimals – We Don’t Die. We Multiply
Coming to a sim near you is a whole different batch of interactive animals in the shape of a cute bunny from the Magic of Oz. (No worries, I’m assured these won’t eat your face. What?) Like the popular Sion Chickens the bunnies are breed-able. There are six different breeds, so imagine the genetic possibilities! However, they’re not evil like Sion Chickens as they won’t die. Through the Magic of Oz, they recognize that these animals are both an emotional and financial investment. The can’t be destroyed accidents or malicious intent. Bunnies cannot be killed by accidental return to inventory (be it picking up, going off world, or being returned) or by griefing. The only ways for a bunny to die are either owner neglect or old age.
If you have more questions, you can visit the Ozimal FAQ here.
In the meantime, while waiting for their imminent release, go visit the vendor and get in their group (subscribe-o-matic). Magic of Oz is looking for beta testers. You can also get a preview of the cuties as well. Here’s a ride to their vendor.

Mimikri – Roxy
When I received a group notecard from Mimikri about her new line of clothing and saw the pictures, I knew I had to get my aliased behind over there. Sometimes I forget about the beauty of Mimikri and her designs. I wandered about her store drooling over everything. Her clothing is just so unique and beautiful. If I could get away with it, I would wear her designs in real life.
Pictured below is a creation from her new line. Beautiful metallics that are light and touchable. The Roxy jacket is like something I’ve never seen before in SL. I can see women wearing something like this in 2050, but I’m wearing it today! The jacket is available in gold, black and silver. (I want them all!) And for one price, you get long pants and shorter, knee-length pants as well.

Lost Dreams – Susan Mix
When I saw Lost Dreams’ recent release of a pretty light blue blouse (also available in pink) with a smocked bodice and sheer sleeves, I knew I wanted to pair it with something other than jeans or a denim mini. (That would have been too easy and predictable.) I had bought this adorable unique brown skirt from So Many Styles and was perplexed about what to pair with it. It’s funky in a fun way with it’s oversized drawstring waist and asymetrical hemline. (Although I confess to modifying my ghetto booty to fit properly into it. Oh, if only there were RL sliders.)
I think blue and brown go together like spaghetti and meatballs. The blouse and skirt were a great match And the Soho shoes from Maiterya echo the silhouette from the skirt.
If you haven’t paid a visit to Icon for accessories like purses and necklaces, you have to soon. They’ve got great unique layered necklaces like the one I”m wearing and adorable purses. I love the suede studded bag with its chained strap.
Everyone knows I’m Laqroki’s beeotch and it’s only because it works so well with my shape. However, after seeing so many girls rock the Glance Skin look, I thought I’d give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it worked and I love the blue eye shadow in this Jessica skin.

Paisley!
New fun paisley party dress from Callie Cline provides a fun silhouette. I just love the big wide belt. (It’s strapless unerneath and has great little flirty arm bands that aren’t pictured.) I added the leopard fur jacket from The Closet and a great sassy hair style from Curio which smacks of the 50s.
The dress comes with gem-changing bracelet and earrings.

Ivalde -Svala

The Ivalde Challenge
Recently I was challenged by Beulah Mills of Ivalde to incorporate their designs into my every day fashions and show that Ivalde isn’t just vintage. I was definitely up for it. I’ve always admired not only Ivalde’s design, but Neferia Abels’ attention to detail and quality.
I have a few pieces of her collection in my closet and when I want to go simple and sexy, I find myself reaching for her Marilyn Wiggle dress in black. I know I can’t wrong. I also love her 70s clothes and am a big fan of the Kita suede coat from that decade.
The other night had me leisurely strolling through Ivalde looking for something special, something fierce. I laid my eyes on Svala. This outfit is a soft-knitted ivory tube top with a flirty lace hemline and an optional lepoard-spotted belt. This tops a pair of soft wool tweed shorts (available in long & short). The shorts have a great detail of a puffy prim cuff that really adds interest to the overall look.
I’ve kept the look simple with a new scarf in sepia from Maiterya. A pair of fuschia-colored wool knee socks and gold Stiletto Moody pumps add brighteness and color to the look. I’m one of those girls who usually only wear once piece of substantial jewelry. Here I’ve got on a great modern gold cuff from plus glam.
Do yourself a favor and stop in at Ivalde. Stretch your imagination and realize that vintage can be included in your daily look! I’ll be doing more of the same.

Naive’s Sensibility

Naive’s Sensibility
Hey! Naive is realizing that the economy is not the best and they’ve decided to lower their prices so that everybody can afford things. Go to the store and see it for yourself.
I’m wearing a very sweet dress named Sensibility. This dress has a bit of an attitude. It’s like it wants to be sporty, but it can’t make up it’s mind. It comes with the hat and gloves, too. The hat is super-easy to fit and looks girly with the side-swept pony tail from Truth.
I did have to adjust the belt and the skirt a little bit and sometimes my butt sticks out because of my AO. But this outfit is so perfect for a spring break somewhere warm.

Maiterya
February 16, 2009
My girl Mercedes Kane and I fought the lag fight on Saturday to partake in the Maiterya shopping feeding craziness. We both snapped up a couple different colors of strapless tops, scarves and denim skirts and jetted back to the lair to try things on.
Mercedes and I sport some serious curves, and apparently the very talented designers at Maiterya are model-thin. We both spent about an hour modding that damn strapless top to work on either of us. Even the layer with the built-in AO gave me some trouble. Keep in mind, I’m completely challenged when it comes to modding. I wanted to hang myself with the scarf. Don’t even get me started.
I’m warning you now, if you’ve got any significant amount of curves, you’re going to spend some time jacking around with the top. Thankfully Maiterya makes it easy with a built-in script, and in the end, it turned out alright After much swearing on both of our parts and me vowing not to change my shape for clothes, we got it there. Merc’s looked better than mine. The belt on mine still isn’t quite right. !@#$%
We figured we spent so much time to look good, we’d document our efforts.

Anne’s Green Coat Dress

Anne’s Green Coat Dress
Just like a lot of other girls, I’ve seen the Devil Wears Prada at least a jillion times and have always coveted Andy’s wardrobe. Estelle Parnall from Lost Dreams has made her green coat dress a reality for us in SL! A beautiful wool texturing on this coat that also comes in a sexy red. I tried to completely recreate Andy’s look with Adam & Eve’s old gold pumps, a big black bag from LeLutka, and modern textured hair from Detour.

Scoochie my Pucci

Scoochie my Pucci
Wandering lost in Paris the other day, I spotted a shop called Lost Dreams. Liking the name I wandered in and was pleasantly surprised. The designer, Estelle Parnall, has created a collection of retro dresses that are very Pucci-like in their patterns and colors. Well-made, this dress has a great detail of a racer back.
The dress highlighted below comes with a great scuplty black chain link belt, but in this case, I decided to forgo it for the new embossed belt from CoCo. Retro is available in 3 different colors including black and white. Fun silver-handled bag from Wanda’s comes with a color change menu. It’s a real value.

Mimikri + League

Mimikri + League
Feeling a bit edgy, and I realize that everyone’s interpretation of edgy is quite different. I’ve been looking for an excuse to break out League’s leather jacket, which comes with two different sleeve types and in 3 different lengths for one price (short, mid and full) and prim buckles galore. I’m rocking out the full length with thick sleeves. I like the way it pairs up with Mimikri’s Jill in red and League’s sexy-ass Sinaed boots with even more buckles!
Sometimes I get too focused on new things that’s it refreshing to visit old friends like Armidi’s Poynter style. Remember back in the day when this and the Bombshell were the only styles available for the longest time? Yeah…the good old days.
