Skin Flicks Casy Cascade Sweater
Mavis McGettigan of Skin Flicks design just recently released this new beautiful cascade sweater. Once again, the quality of her work and attention to detail is highlighted, from the cascade of the knit folds to the collar and prim sleeves. The sweater is on the jacket layer and hugs the body, so when you move, there are no annoying poke-throughs. Even the highlight texturing on the sweater is drop-dead gorgeous.
This sweater is part of a larger release/outfit, which includes high-waisted pants and a beautifully-collared white blouse, which is elegant on its own. (The sweater is available in a handful of colors.) Here I’m showing it a lot more casual by pairing it with Artilleri’s silky, lacy leo top and Emery’s skinny Zoe jeans in black. Fun (and pimp-ass expensive) flat-heeled boots from Anexx complete it.
Hair is worn up in a sex-kitten top knot from WAKA & Yuki. If you haven’t paid a visit to Waka & Yuki, do it. They offer some great little textured styles for $100L for 3 colors.
Peace.

Gamer-style
My SL friends constantly accuse me of dressing in Lara Croft style. I’m not quite sure I understand what they’re on about, but they’re pretty insistent about it. In my opinion, the style I’m sporting below could be considered a little on the Crofty side. A fitting look to crawl about some of the urban role playing sims, even just to observe.
The look starts with a House of Hucci’s fur bomb, which is conveniently a prim attachment, not to mention easily sizeable and customizable. Layered under is a unique vest from Pig scored from last week’s $50L Friday. Held together by a safety pin. These are layered over a new hoodie from Miel Mo (sans hoodie attachment). On the bottom is a great, simple (and butt-cheek short) mini from Luck. Paired up with Miel’s refurbished socks in maroon. Yes, I paid extra for the holes and runs.
Go get your game on.

Ellie Mae 21st Century-Style

Ellie Mae Clampett 21st Century Style
Remember the smex that was Ellie Mae Clampett from the Beverly Hillbillies? She could tame the wildest of beasts and had no clue how rawrr she was. (I can use “rawrr” as a descriptor, can’t I?) My take on the 21st century version of Ellie Mae is not only a smart brunette, but with help from Worldwide Industries (WWI), she’s showing a little more skin.
At one point in time, going to WWI was my default standard for any hoochie wear, which has been supplemented now by Luck Inc. (My reference to the term “hoochie wear” is strictly made in loving terms!) Anyways, while WWI still has its share of hooch-wear, I’ve also found some dynamite pieces like the denim skirt I’m wearing.
Ellie Mae’s rope belt has been replaced by snazzy canvas belt complete with a metal belt buckle on top of an updated cargo denim mini (with prim cargo pockets). (Available in different denim washes.) Her cute gingham print button-down shirt has been swapped out for WWI’s sexy-ass, cleavage and tummy-baring, almost-inappropriately so, work shirt in cute pink and brown. Hair is the oh-so-innocent new release from Maitreya.
Speaking of taming wild beasts…I spy one wearing red flannel. O.o

Sweater Vest
You. Your sex is on fire. And so were the words to transpire. Hot as a fever. Rattling bones. I could just taste it. Taste it. - King of Leons
I’m feeling quite inspired again to blog. (I know, about bloody time. Yay!) Tyranny Designs (TD) is quickly becoming a favorite store of mine. Tyr Rozenblum’s designs are quirky and sexy with unexpected patterns and textures. (I want it all! Woof!) The sweater vest, which is rich in texture, is from TD. It’s available in a palette of urban colors to layer and mix. The fat pack is totally worth it just for the layering possibilities alone. TD’s store is a bit of a mess at the moment as they’re under a major store re-build. I’ve paired it up with quite possibly the most perfect faded blue jeans in my closet from League.
The cute bun hair style is available from Fri.day. (It’s available with bangs as well.) My first experience with Fri.day came the other day. From what I saw, it’s a great place for layering and basic clothing pieces. The few hair styles they have are textured and are very well done.

Naive Beulah

Naive Beulah
Leah McCullough of Naive continues to be one of my very favorite designers. Her designs are fun and fresh. Just this week, she had a huge release and when I saw the leggings pictured below, I knew I had to get them all. Browsing in her store is a delight with the pictures of the clothes rotating to show all angles of the item.
I was attracted to the feminine, flirty nature of Naive’s Beulah dress. You can make it as demure or as provocative as you dare with its 3 buttons and sexy cleavage. Here are two slightly different looks highlighting that difference. The dress is reasonably priced at L$70 and available in Black, Blue, Pink, Yellow and Green.
I didn’t pick much up at last month’s jewelry fair, but one of the items that I was fortunate to acquire comes from Gems & Kisses It’s the ” Sexy – Black – Hand Bracelet” and I’ve been having a hard time not wearing it. It comes as two prim attachments and is really unique and beautiful.

Casual me
First off, let me apologize for being lacks in my posting. I needed to take some time away from things in general to gain some mental clarity. I never want this little blog to become a chore filled with uninspired posts. Sometimes, time away is a healthy thing.
Once again, I’m in casual mode and sticking close to home. The gorgeous, flowing blouse by Kurotsubaki sets the tone in brown for this outfit. It has an asymmetrical hemline with hints of green and purple in the pattern. (It’s also available in red. ) Paired up with a freebie Truth tank from last year, but really, any tank would do nicely here. I have styled it with Miel Mo Pocket Pants in driftwood, but imagine this floaty blouse with a pair of faded jeans and simple tank. Smexy. I’ve kept the jewelry on the handmade, artsy side with Bliensen + MaiTai new Hilde’s Embroidery Necklace and Zaara’s Nizam Choodiya bangles.
Peace to you all. <3

Ozimals – We Don’t Die. We Multiply
Coming to a sim near you is a whole different batch of interactive animals in the shape of a cute bunny from the Magic of Oz. (No worries, I’m assured these won’t eat your face. What?) Like the popular Sion Chickens the bunnies are breed-able. There are six different breeds, so imagine the genetic possibilities! However, they’re not evil like Sion Chickens as they won’t die. Through the Magic of Oz, they recognize that these animals are both an emotional and financial investment. The can’t be destroyed accidents or malicious intent. Bunnies cannot be killed by accidental return to inventory (be it picking up, going off world, or being returned) or by griefing. The only ways for a bunny to die are either owner neglect or old age.
If you have more questions, you can visit the Ozimal FAQ here.
In the meantime, while waiting for their imminent release, go visit the vendor and get in their group (subscribe-o-matic). Magic of Oz is looking for beta testers. You can also get a preview of the cuties as well. Here’s a ride to their vendor.

Salsa Trixie Frock

Salsa Trixie Frock
I adore the sweetness of this new dress release from Salsa. Although I’m covering up the best part of the dress with my cardi from Pig and that’s the bric-brac straps that continue on into the neckline. This look is so sweet, I’m giving guy’s tooth aches grid wide. Too bad my soul is black.
The dresses are available in 3 primary colors and are reasonably priced at $75. Style note: I did move the dress prim down a touch in order to not interfere with the cardi. The key is to wear the glitch pants on the pants layer and the jeans on the underwear layer so my pixelated behind doesn’t poke through Did ya get that?
The capris are the indecent butt-crack ones from Luck Inc. But they’re made decent again by covering up the valley of lost change.

Lost Dreams – Joan

Lost Dreams – Joan
A new release of fun, graphic mini skirts/tops from Estelle Parnall of Lost Dreams. The mini skirt is cute in its simpleness and hand-painted belt. Offered in 5 different patterns, which include zebra, leopard, houndstooth, and two different tartans (red and blue). It also comes with a matching black neck top. I’m wearing the blue tartan skirt pictured below. I’ve paired it with League’s Garage shirt on top of the back top for a great tough girl look.
My boots are from the almost impossible-to-find Zero Number. I first saw them on a girl and had to have them. She didn’t speak English; just my luck. I ended up having to travel grid-wide to track those mothas down. But it was worth it. I despise doing grid Hunts because I suck at them, but I just love trying to connect the dots on a find. Sometimes when I *finally* find it, I feel like how Columbus must have felt discovering the America. Well, okay, maybe not that epic.
I think I’ve been wearing these boots for a week with all sorts of different looks. They also come in a very distressed brown as well. Like the skirt, they’re fab. (Style note on boots: Zero Number offers a few other wonderful boots, but keep in mind, they’re not script sizeable like the ones pictured below. They might be too chunky for some. )

Skirt/Undershirt: Lost Dreams Joan blue tartan skirt and black top

Funky Butterflies

Funky Butterflies
I’ve just been in a funky mood lately clothing-wise. While I was waiting for a super-cute lucky board dress at shirohato, I shopped. Of course I’m gonna shop. I mean, how can I NOT shop? Get a grip.
At shirohato, they have these quirky clothes dirt cheap. I don’t wait for many lucky boards/chairs because I’m the type of person who stands in front of the microwave and says, “What is that like an entire minute? I don’t have a minute. Get on with it!” Yeah, I’m an impatient fuck. It’s a fact. As I was waiting for the characters 0-9 to pass on the lucky BORED (WTF?), I started using the tiny shop as my personal dressing room. Oh, like you haven’t done that when no one’s about. (Yeah, so there was this blue unicorn in the corner, but I’m sure he/she were not paying any mind. Besides, I’m pretty sure I wasn’t his/her type.)
Typically I’m not a fan of patterns on tops that look like they’re gripping my lady berries. However, this satin, handpainted jacket from shirohato was hard to resist. (Umm, hello, $40?!) I paired it up funky-like with the pants from the Urban outfit from Acid & Mala Creations and Naive’s brand new falling-down socks. I cannot get enough of those socks. (Psst, get the fat pack.) The great thing about them is that they don’t use the same attachment points as the cuffs. Yay! Attachment points can suck it.
The hair and hat combo is from Shop Seu. My PhotoShop skills completely butchered the sweet fuzzy/furriness of it, so use your imagination. I just wish it came in another color other than blond. Back in my early days, I used to be a blond, but grew tired of always shopping for blond textures. Trainers are expensive unisexy goodness from hoorenbeek. Oh, and I hate to tell you this, but you’re on your own with the hip chain. In one of my daily exploits of the grid, I found it. It’s from a shop called Gypsy Moon. However, the last time I was there, I couldn’t find it. I promise I’ll keep searching for it and update this post if I do. (Hey at least I’m not dangling Last Call yummeh’s in your face sayin, “Lookie here, pre-2007 bishes. You can’t haaaave. Neener”)
Oh, and despite spending a good 40 minutes last night, I still haven’t scored that cutie freebie dress. Someone hollah if you see the letter “H” at shirohato.
